August 23, 2006 - Relax at Waikiki's first rooftop spa

Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach is a popular deluxe hotel located right on Waikiki Beach. This wonderful property is home to the famous "Duke's" restaurant and the hotel amenities include a pool, pool bar, whirlpool spa, 3 restaurants, lounges, room service, nightly entertainment, fitness center, shops, travel and activity desk and central laundry facilities. A Virginia resort is hailing its new spa as one of the largest in the area. Lansdowne Resort's Spa Minerale is part of the resort's US$60-million renovation and expansion program. The 4,000-square-meter facility features 13 treatment rooms; three private relaxation lounges, each with a fireplace; an image centre/salon for men and women; and locker rooms with whirlpools, saunas, steam rooms and grooming amenities.

The Spa Suite has its own lounge and up to four treatment rooms for people to have a spa experience with friends, family or a partner. Spa guests can find such treatments as cleansing exfoliations; hydrating and detoxifying masks; hydrotherapy air-jet bath; Vichy and multi-head shower experiences; basic and advanced skin care facials; and depilatory waxing.
