Beaches Resorts has partnered with Parents in a Pinch, Inc., to design and implement a comprehensive education program for its Nannies, supervising children day and night. Upon graduation, each Nanny receives the distinction of “Childcare Specialist,” which is recognized by Florida State University and the International Nanny Association.

The Beaches childcare training program is dedicated to providing a stimulating, age-appropriate and safe environment for its tiny guests. It is divided into three phases – Infants and Toddlers, Preschool and Grade School, and Special Needs. Within each phase, three topics are covered including Health and Safety (safety concerns for each age group, basic choking emergencies); Child Development (social-emotional growth and development, child-friendly environments, children in group settings: the shy child, the aggressive child, separation anxiety, icebreakers, non-competitive games); and Modeling and Supervision on site (interacting with parents, dealing with difficult situations, conflict resolution, scheduling activities, group activity suggestions).
